I'm going on long-term memory--a somewhat problematical issue for me at my age--but didn't CSPD have a brief departmental presence in the vacated 7-Eleven store on the corner of NE corner of Pikes Peak and Tejon [?] several years ago? I don't know about viability and efficacy, but such a presence would be a direct encouragement to me. ~RKM

This aspect of Downtown concerns and planning is extraordinarily important to me. I seldom go downtown (other than to church) because I Don't Feel Safe. And by logical extension, I must also be concerned about those indigent and homeless persons who are trying to just get along and survive as well. ~RKM
