The Elevate Downtown Colorado Springs planning process brought community members, businesses, and civic leaders together to shape a shared vision for the heart of the city. Through data analysis, and public input, the process identifies opportunities to improve mobility, housing, public spaces, economic vitality, and overall quality of life Downtown. The resulting draft plan reflects months of community-driven ideas and technical evaluation, outlining strategies that will guide downtown’s growth and vibrancy for years to come.
Reviewing the draft plan is an important step for the community, as it ensures the recommendations truly align with local priorities, captures a wide range of perspectives, and sets the foundation for meaningful, long-term improvements that benefit everyone who lives, works, and visits downtown.
