It would be helpful if street names and other identifiers were sharpened in this rendering. I also suggest solid black wording rather than grayscale or coloring for ease of reading and clarity. [This applies to other maps and sketches of similar design.] ~RKM
is Front Range Passenger Rail being accounted for in this planning?
FAC is part of CC, Money Museum is not
Concern
Footers all say "Master Plan". Updated name is Elevate Downtown Plan (no "master")
Yes - too much vacant land and parking lots. Encourage development here please!
Suggestion
The report is well done but too areas that should be addressed. As key areas around Downtown grow like North Nevada, Union Printers Development, S Nevada, and Old Colorado City should address how are downtown connects and supports these developing areas and in a way our downtown is a hub with connections. We should look at how are planning, transportation, connections to these areas and why downtown provides special services and retail to service
I also would suggest addressing how we could make key streets like Pikes Peak, Wahsatch, Tejon ( have done this) Nevada, and Cascade have more uniform and attractive appearance. We for example have had lots of new apartments build on Wahsatch but have not given attention to appearance on street
I did not see much thought given to parking. Should we be better planning of what happens when private surface lots are replaced by buildings. Should parking enterprise oversee all parking for downtown and do they have plan to develop new parking facilities as downtown grows and surface lots replaced

is it possible to update this image so that it has the other developments that have been completed?
Missing “Springs”
Suggestion
Any store downtown should have a minimum parking exemption (as well as a maximum parking space limitation. IT would be an absolute disaster for a grocery store to be built with an enormous parking lot. Urban areas around the country with grocery stores typically rely on existing public structures or build underground parking.
Support
Yes! I have been a longtime advocate of a downtown convention center and even spoke to city council about this in 2018. It is absolutely a matter of political will and then the vote, as the report mentions. Thank you for including this!
