Concern
Parking will be in short supply if increased parking is not planned into future developments throughout the Downtown area. While use of "multimodal" transportation may be the norm for younger, more fit citizens, automobile ownership will still be important for most Downtown area residents and workers - especially in cold and inclement weather. Don't force apartment renters to compete with Downtown visitors and workers for on-street parking.
Suggestion
your underlying base map is wrong here. These streets are far to the north of where shown
Suggestion
From what I've observed, it seems that most bus stops should be covered and set back further back from the street when possible. The available seating is often insufficient and of an annoying, off-putting design. I understand the concept of our indigent and homeless then "taking root," but can't we come up with something better? Individual Seating perhaps . . . ~RKM

Whoa, did you get this right! ~RKM
The sentence, "PPACG has led regional transit services in the Colorado Springs area" should be deleted as it not entirely accurate and can be misleading. The next sentence should read, "In MMT's Regional Transit Plan..." While the Regional Transit Plan is an appendix to PPACG's Long Range Transportation Plan, it is a stand-alone document that was commissioned and the primary effort led by MMT.

Good conceptual thinking offered here. ~RKM
As of 12/30/2025, MMT has 33 routes. Prior to the cancellation of Route 36 in the Fall of 2025, it was 34.
I disagree with this as well. Lanes should remain as they are. This is one of the more attractive features about our Downtown area. Cramped Traffic is NOT to be preferred. This is NOT Downtown Chicago--nor should we try to emulate that concept in this Community. ~RKM
IMO, Nevada should and must remain a Major Arterial. ~RKM
