Suggestion
Traffic flow is a concern. Major streets such as Western, Bell, Coulter and Soncy should have priority to minor streets. A good example of traffic flow is the Flower Mound (North Dallas) area. Major streets should have turning lanes separated by concrete. Traffic from businesses can't cross or U-turn except at minor streets or major streets with timed lights. Traffic lights are TIMED to allow traffic on major streets to flow instead of stop at each minor street. This type of improvement could give the people of Amarillo a better impression of Amarillo. At least they know what to expect when driving through town.
Agreement
If I could walk to a local grocery store or convenience store and park I would not mind losing some of the driving in Amarillo. Nobody knows how to drive around here anyway.
